Death Valley CA

It was a great day for traveling the sun was shinning, hardly a cloud in the sky.  Mike drove 208 miles today just about long enough. We paid $2.21 a gallon for gas today.

We drove around Las Vegas, but got a pretty good view of the dust and smog.  It was really bad today, Mike and I both have some allergies to the dust, we were both sneezing and blowing.

Still some snow capped mountains around Vegas. Near Indian Springs NV.

Some beautiful mountain scenery once your out on  the road.  All these pictures are taken out the window of the MH. Not to bad.

Sandy took this picture of our MH out her windshield.  I have been wanting a picture like this for a long time.  Us just driving down the road in the mountains.

We made it to Death Valley only 20 some miles to the campground from here.

Sandy took this picture of our MHs in the Mesquite Springs Campgrounds.

Another of Sandy’s pictures.  As soon as we are set up Mike gets my chair out for me and I sit outside to read.  Right now I’m reading Arctic Drift by Clive Cussler.  This is the first of his books we have read.  Mike already read and gave it 2 thumbs up.

Big day of sight seeing tomorrow.
