Happy Thanksgiving

Mike and I want to wish our family and friends a very Happy Thanksgiving.

We have so much to be thankful for, we are living the life that we love, and our health is good.  We will be spending some time with all our children and grandkids, and with my dad who is doing great at 82.  Who could ask for anything more.

So many more things we are thankful for, to many to list, but we are grateful for everyone of them.. Most of all the country will live in and the freedom we have here.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, Love Mike and Sandy

We Did It

We became South Dakota Residences yesterday.  Our new address is 110 E Center St. #1050 Madison SD 57042-2908.  It was a very painless process less then 3 hours and we had our new plates for 3 vehicles our drivers license new address and registered to vote in Madison.   Our wallet is much lighter, but nothing is cheep anymore I guess.  The driving was the hardest part 14 hours round trip.  We left Monday morning and came back Monday evening.  We had planned on spending the night in a motel, but our new town is pretty small and not much to do.  And the cost of a motel did not fit into the budget after all the other expenses.

I did bring the camera with to take some pictures, but the battery was dead.  So no pics.

Less then 2 weeks and we start to travel.  OH BOY!

Friends meet in Pine City MN

The girls got together for a girls weekend in the middle of the week. LeeAnn and I drove up from the cities and Sharon drove down from Lutson, MN. We stayed at Cheryl's house in Pine City MN. A good time was had by all. Lots of good food and lots and lots of good champagne and wine, and more laughs then should be legal.

Starting on the left is Cheryl in the center is LeeAnn and on the right is Sharon. A toast to best friends and good times.

LeeAnn the day after, not sure if she was going to get out of bed a lay back down. She opted for the second. She did join the rest of us later in the day.

Cheryl's house is way back in the woods and is so warm and homey. We were lucky to wake up to snow in the morning. What a beautiful site. Sharon and I went for a short walk on Wed. morning, it turned out to be longer then we expected. It was warm and so quite in the woods.

Lots of hugs and kisses before we left . What a wonderful time with good friends.
