Back In Tucson

We arrived in Tucson Monday night, after traveling 280 miles.  Gas prices have gone up a bit $1.79 a gallon.  Said goodbye to all our friends but we will be meeting up with everyone in a month or so.  Sure will miss them all.

We came back here so I could go to the bead show this week.  Thousands of vendors from all over the world come here each year in Feb. to sell their beads.  Lucky Mike he gets to go with me.  We are going Wed. morning.

This morning we did laundry and washed the truck and got hair cuts, boy were they needed.   I think that was enough for one day.  What wonderful weather we are having this year.

I've  had requests for the popcorn salad recipe so here it is.  Nancy’s recipe.

1 1/2 cups real mayo 1/4 cup sugar mixed and let set over  night in refrigerator.

1 cup of cheddar cheese shredded

1/4 pound of bacon cooked crisp and crumbled

1 scant cup of onion or less

1 cup of celery

1 can water chestnuts chopped

1 bag of microwave popcorn

Combine above ingredients with mayo and sugar.  Just before serving pop the corn remove all the unpopped  kernels add to mixture and serve.
