Concrete Washington
Monday April 30th 2012
We got to where we were going, Concrete Washington. Our friends Sandy and Steve Allgire have a lot on a small lake in the Concrete area near MT Baker. It’s a beautiful place in the forest near all the mountains. It did rain pretty much the first week we were here, Mike was waiting for feathers to start growing on us or our feet to. But we did get a day of sunshine before we flew back to MN.
Our oldest granddaughter, Amanda, was graduating form the College of Science And Engineering at the University of Minnesota, on May 4th. We flew out of Seattle on Wed. May 2nd to be at the graduation and spend time with family and friends. What a whirl wind trip it was, we were kept busy every minute.
Mike and the Graduate Amanda. Sitting on the other side of Amanda is a friend of hers, opps forgot his name. The family having dinner before the graduation.
Mike, Grandson Ryan, Granddaughter Liz, Grandson Matt, and me.
