Las Vegas NV
We had a busy day, went out for breakfast, after breakfast I did the laundry and Mike got the smoker going to do a ham. It was the best ham ever, moist and sweet.
Mike bought a smoker in Apache Junction at a garage sale, and he has been smoking up a storm ever since. He did Cornish game hens for Christmas Eve, he did 3 pork buts for a gathering we had in January in Quartzsite AZ, and a few butts at the RV park in AJ. We had the most amazing pulled pork sandwiches on every occasion.
After dinner we headed downtown to Fremont Street, I wanted to do the zip line, nothing better then flying thru the air on a rope. WOW got my heart pumping. Mike decided not to do it, I think he was afraid, but he said he wanted to get pictures of me zipping along.
I’m on the right in the turquois shirt. Just taking off in the second picture
Zooming right along.
At dusk we went to the strip to see the show at Treasure Island. What a great show, pirate ships ,show girls, buff young men, and plenty of shooting and fire works. When the show was over we walked down the street to the Mirage for there show of fire and water.
The Mirage the fountain on fire and the fountain in it’s normal state.
I took this picture from the top of the parking ramp.
We got back to the MH about 10 watched the news and went to bed. It was a great day.
